In line Security Baggage Screening Program

DFW-International Airport has chosen ATSER as a Joint Venture Partner member of DFWIA-Integrated Partners to construct a long term, in-line solution to baggage screening in Terminals B, C and E. At the conclusion of this project all checked bags will be automatically routed through an explosive detection system (EDS). Once cleared, bags will be forwarded to either the outbound gate or a collection point.

The project includes 13,800 feet of new conveyors and building additions to Terminals B & E to house EDS machines

International Services Expansion Program
George Bush Intercontinental Airport

As part of the Parsons Brinkerhoff Team, ATSER was selected to provide program and construction management services for the $449 million International Services Expansion Program (ISEP) at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. ATSER is responsible for providing design management, project control systems, contract administration, construction management and field inspection services and geotechnical engineering studies. The program includes a new Central FIS facility capable of processing 4,000 passengers per hour and will house the central ticketing function for Continental Airlines, a 2,500 car parking facility and expansion of the Automated people Mover (APM) System between Terminals C and D.

Airside Improvement Program

ATSER provided program and construction management, construction materials engineering testing and inspection, project control systems, and a QA/QC Plan to Brown & Root for the George Bush Intercontinental Airport Airside Improvement Program. ATSER developed Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program Criteria to meet FAA and COH specifications, including development of QA/QC testing manuals containing acceptance criteria and testing frequency.
